The Bearded Baker began in 2021 as a chef-driven project to create any flavor of cheesecake imaginable using the best possible ingredients. This project has since grown into a bakery now located just outside downtown Bexley in Columbus, Ohio.
When you visit us, you will be greeted by a gallery of small-batch, handmade cheesecakes and cheesecake minis in both classic and unique flavor options that rotate every single day. You’ll also find handmade cookies, brownies, pineapple upside down cakes, crème brûlée, and even scratch-made hot soup.
What you won’t find anywhere is a freezer. Our desserts are baked and served fresh daily which allows us to constantly explore new flavors and menu options.

To order your own whole cheesecake or a box of 10 mini cheesecakes, please head to our order website located at orderbeardedbaker.square.site.
Our turn around time can fluctuate, but is typically 5-7 business days from the date the order is placed, and we aren't able to respond to messages requesting custom orders sooner than our ordering schedule allows. Our order website will show you the soonest date available when you place your order.

We would love to talk to you about featuring our desserts at your event! If you only need a few whole cheesecakes, we encourage you to place an order through our website.
For orders totaling in more than 5 whole cheesecakes or 5 boxes of mini cheesecakes, please contact us via our contact form and we will reach back out to you as soon as we can to confirm and coordinate the details.

Currently, the best way to get individual slices or minis is by visiting our bakery in person or ordering through DoorDash when available. Due to higher demand during our peak times and busier days, DoorDash ordering may not always be available.

Our cheesecake recipes use only the best ingredients and are crafted with care, however, our cheesecakes are not vegan, gluten free, or sugar free. Our cheesecakes also contain no gelatin.
If you have a gluten allergy and want to make a custom order for your own cheesecake, we can switch our recipe to a gluten free alternative at an additional fee. Please let us know by filling out our contact form.
If you have a severe nut allergy, please be aware that our standard recipes and flavors (unless it's an obvious nut-based flavor like peanut butter) don't contain nuts, but we currently don't keep a separate prep station for nut-free products. As an extra precaution, we mark any of our flavors on our order website that contain nuts as an ingredient in the flavor description.
